General Waste Disposal
- Deposit General Waste in RED Lid Bins
- Wrap all Food Waste in a Plastic Bag to mimimise odours
- Wrap all Waste if using a Waste Chute and push past the rubber sealing flap.
- Do NOT use Waste Chutes for bottles or other hard objects. They damage the Chute lining.
- Waste Chutes are periodically professionally cleaned.
- RED Lid Bins emptied Monday & Thursday mornings every week.
- No change for Public Holidays
- RED Lid Bins are cleaned every two weeks on Thursday.
Please Do NOT place seafood scraps in Waste Bins!
Rotting Fish Odours can be smelt throughout the Complex, Instead place seafood scraps in Freezer.
Transfer Frozen Scraps to Waste Bins the night before Bin Collection Day
Also Please ensure you do the following
- Wrap waste foodstuffs in plastic bags or similar before depositing in General Waste Bins.
- Do not place Hardware Items such as kettles or computers in General Waste. Make other arrangements to dispose of these items.
- Do not place Removalist Materials in General Waste Bins. Arrange for your Removalist to dispose of these or make alternative arrangements.
Note: All large items including furniture, appliances and other non-household waste must be disposed of off-site at a suitable facility.
