- Deposit Recycle Waste only in YELLOW Lid Bins
- YELLOW Lid Bins emptied Monday & Thursday mornings every week.
- No change for Public Holidays.
- YELLOW Lid Bins are cleaned every two weeks on a Monday.
Do not place plastic bags in the Recycling Bins.
Here’s Why!
“PLASTIC BAGS are not recoverable through Council’s household recycling service, as they damage and jam the machines at the recycling facility. Recyclable items should be placed loosely in your recycling bin and not in plastic bags.
BRISBANE CITY COUNCIL ADVICE
Plastic bags, cling wrap, bubble wrap and nappies are considered contaminants in the recycling process and should be placed in the general waste bin.”
VINNIE’S CHARITY BINS
- St Vincent de Paul Charity provide BLUE Top Bins for collection of items donated by TRG Residents.
- Vinnie’s Bin is emptied by Vinnie’s Collection Service every Thursday morning.
- Collection day may change in event of a Public Holiday.
